• Proficient in working on all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, LinkedIn
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Docs
• Excellent research skills, internet navigation abilities, writing skills
• Self-driven, able to work without supervision
INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Update WSS blogs
• Assist in writing articles about WeShopSongs
• Support the planning and coordinating of e-mail campaigns
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, initiative, and maturityDescription:
Research, design and launch a blog. Prepare multiple blog entries prior to publishing. Start building and tracking a following for the blog. Weekly skype/phone meetings with WeShopSongs Staff and the book launch team to coordinate efforts. Communicate by e-mail and phone 3-5 times a week.
Qualifications:
Looking for enthusiastic, resourceful intern who would like to learn how to develop a blog for a soon to be launched self-help book. Successful candidates will be organized, creative, self-directed writers. Ideal candidates include Journalism, PR, Business, Psychology majors with goodwriting skills, knowledge of social media & internet skills, able to communicate at least bi-weekly (Skype and e-mail), work virtually, stay organized who would like to make a difference in the world. Must have computer and internet access.
